For distributors and importers selling online

You sell a dozen or more brands.
Three of them fund the rest.
Do you know which?

Purchase price, marketplace fees, advertising costs, returns, capital tied up in stock: all in one place, per brand, per SKU and per channel. You will see which brand actually makes money and which one just turns over stock at zero margin.

Sales are growing.
Yet there is less in the bank than a year ago.

You know what you paid the manufacturer for a carton from the last delivery. You know what the product sells for in your shop and on marketplaces. But nobody in the company adds it all up, with duty, transport, marketplace fees, returns and advertising costs.

So you trade a dozen or more brands, top up ad budgets and plan imports. And the decision “which brand gets the budget, which one to drop, what to add to the container” is made on gut feeling, because your data sits in five different dashboards and in your accountant’s head.

A 35% list-price margin is not the margin you earn. It is the margin you start from.

The same product
earns €2.10 more in your shop than on the marketplace, yet Meta ads send traffic mainly to the marketplace
Do you know how much this costs you every month?
Channel cannibalisation

The marketplace sells 6 out of 10 units.
And eats into your margin.

A customer who could buy in your shop at a €9.88 margin finds the same product on a marketplace at a €7.78 margin, and the marketplace absorbs the ads you paid for with your shop in mind. DataOrganizer shows where this cannibalisation costs you the most and which brand suffers most.

Insight from the AI assistant
Meta ads send a lot of traffic to the marketplace: buyers see a lower price and click through there. Each such customer costs you €2.10 in lost margin. Brand A, your highest-margin brand, suffers the most.
AI assistant · plain language

You ask like an owner. You get answers like from an analyst.

No data skills needed. Ask in plain language, the everyday language of distribution. The assistant knows your purchase prices and your shop and marketplace data.

Which SKUs have more than 90 days of stock? Should I discount anything?
Based on the last 90 days of sales and current stock levels, Brand C has as many as 38 SKUs with more than 90 days of stock. Top 4:
Accessory X-12
186 days
Accessory Y-04
142 days
Accessory X-08
128 days
Accessory Z-01
112 days
Brand C also has a negative net margin (−3% on average). I would suggest a 25% clearance sale in your own shop to free up capital (approx. €12,000 tied up) instead of importing another delivery.
What about Brand A? Should I increase ad spend?
Yes, but carefully: it is your strongest brand. Net margin +28%, sell-through 6 days and stock for only 14 days. I would suggest placing another order with the supplier before increasing the budget, because at the current rate you will run out of stock in under 2 weeks.

Distributors’ questions

The concerns we hear most often

I have several hundred SKUs from a dozen suppliers. Isn’t this for small shops?
Quite the opposite. The more brands you have, the more places money quietly leaks out. A distributor with 15 brands usually has 2–3 that actually fund the business, and 3–4 that look like they “turn over”, but lose money once marketplace fees, returns and the cost of capital tied up in stock are added. DataOrganizer shows this directly, per brand, per SKU, per channel.
How do you load purchase prices? Do I need an ERP integration?
Two options. If you keep purchase prices in your shop system (WooCommerce, Shopify, IdoSell, PrestaShop etc.), we pull them automatically along with the rest of your data. If not, you upload an Excel file with purchase prices per SKU (net supplier price, transport, duty, warehousing), map the columns once, and from then on DataOrganizer calculates your real margin. You update the same file when supplier prices change. No ERP integration, no API keys, no IT department.
I import from Asia. How do you handle duty, transport and exchange rates?
You upload import costs like any other component of unit cost: FOB price in the original currency + transport + duty + handling, converted into your local currency at the rate on the customs clearance date. You can record this per delivery (each batch has its own unit cost) or as an average per SKU. DataOrganizer keeps the history, so you can see how a rising USD rate erodes your margin week by week.
I sell in my own shop and on marketplaces. Can I manage it all in one place?
Yes. This is exactly the case where DataOrganizer makes sense. Each channel has its own list price, its own fees, its own shipping costs and its own returns profile. We show the same SKU in two contexts side by side, and after a week you know where you actually make money and where you are only moving stock.
What about stock levels? Does it show stock cover and dead stock?
Yes. From the sell-through rate per SKU we calculate how many days your current stock will last and show which products need reordering and which need marking down. The assistant answers questions such as “what should I order before Christmas?” by looking at seasonality from previous years and current stock. We also show capital tied up in dead stock: how much money is sitting on shelves that nobody buys from.
What about my data? Will competitors be able to see it?
Every client has a separate database on Google Cloud infrastructure (the same one that runs YouTube and Gmail). Encryption at rest and in transit. We do not use your data to train anyone’s AI. You can delete your account and all your data with one click.
