For manufacturers selling D2C

You know how much you produced.
You know how much you sold.
But how much did you actually earn?

Production margin, ad costs, marketplace fees, returns, stock: in one place, per SKU and per channel. You will see which product keeps you going and which one just takes up space in the warehouse.

The shop has a “great month”
Yet the bank account shows less than in January.

You know exactly what raw materials, labour and packaging cost you. You know what the product sells for in your shop and on marketplaces. But nobody in the company adds it all up together with marketplace fees, returns, ad costs and shipping.

So you run a shop that sells. You run production that produces. And decisions such as “what to put more ad budget into, what to discontinue, what to produce in a larger batch” are made on gut feeling, because the data sits in five different dashboards and in your accountant’s head.

A 40% production margin is not the margin you earn. It is the margin you start from.

Channel cannibalisation

Two channels. Two different margins.
The weaker one eats the stronger one.

A customer who could buy in your shop at a €7.75 margin finds the same product on a marketplace at a €6.50 margin, and the marketplace absorbs the ads you paid for with your shop in mind. DataOrganizer shows where this cannibalisation costs you the most.

Insight from the AI assistant: 58% of your sales go through a channel with a 17% lower margin. Your Meta ads send a lot of traffic to the marketplace: buyers see a lower price and click there. Each such customer costs you €1.37 in lost margin.
AI assistant · in plain language

You ask like an owner.
You get answers like from an analyst.

You do not need to be a data expert. Ask in plain language, the everyday language of production. The assistant knows your production costs and your shop and marketplace data.

“What should I produce in larger batches?” Answers based on margin, sell-through and seasonality.
“What do I have too much of in stock?” Stock cover per SKU and sell-through rate.
“How much do I really earn on marketplaces?” After commission, returns and delivery programme costs.

Which SKUs have more than 90 days of stock? Should I stop production?
Based on the last 90 days of sales and current stock levels, 4 SKUs have more than 90 days of stock:
Mask 100ml
142 days
Toner 200ml
118 days
Organic oil
96 days
Mist 50ml
94 days
Mask 100ml also has a negative net margin (−€1.60/unit). I would suggest pausing the next production batch at least until November.
What about the Cream 50ml? Is the shop losing it?
Quite the opposite: it is your top performer. Cream 50ml has a net margin of +€9.55/unit, 4-day sell-through and only 12 days of stock. I would suggest running an emergency batch before the weekend, because at the current rate it will sell out by Wednesday.

Manufacturers’ questions

The doubts we hear most often

I have dozens of SKUs and seasonal lines. Isn’t this for small shops?
Quite the opposite. The more SKUs you have, the more places money quietly leaks away. A manufacturer with 15 products usually has 2–3 bestsellers that fund the rest, and 5 products that actually lose money, but nobody calculates it. DataOrganizer shows this directly, per SKU, per channel, per season.
How do you import production costs? Do I need an ERP integration?
Two ways. If you keep costs in your shop system (WooCommerce, Shopify, IdoSell, PrestaShop etc.), we import them automatically along with the rest of the data. If not, you upload an Excel file with costs per SKU (raw materials, packaging, labour), map the columns once and from then on DataOrganizer calculates the real margin. You update the same file whenever costs change. No ERP integration, no API keys, no IT department.
I sell in my own shop and on marketplaces. Can I manage it all in one place?
Yes. This is exactly the case where DataOrganizer makes sense. Each channel has its own list price, its own fees, its own shipping costs and its own returns profile. We show the same SKU in both contexts side by side, and within a week you know where you really make money and where you are just turning over stock.
What about stock levels? Does it show stock cover?
Yes. From the sell-through rate per SKU we calculate how many days your current stock will last and show which products need to be added to production and which should be paused. The assistant answers questions such as “what should we produce in August?” by looking at seasonality over recent years and current stock levels.
What about my data? Will competitors be able to see it?
Each client has a separate database on Google Cloud infrastructure (the same one that runs YouTube and Gmail). Encryption at rest and in transit. We do not use your data to train anyone’s AI. You can delete your account and all your data with a single click.
What if I don’t like it?
